My New Shoes

Posted by socalrunnergirl on March 4, 2008

My trusty Vasque Velocities have over 300 miles on them and that number is growing rapidly.  I was planning on buying another pair (and I still might) to use for running Zane Grey.  I had a $50 off credit at Fleet Feet so I went in to see the ever helpful Michelle Barton.  I was planning on looking at the Adidas Supernova Trail (which I did), but Michelle sold me on the Asiscs Trabuco.  They didn’t have my size in stock but coincidently she is the same size as me and was wearing them so I tried them on and loved them.  I hiked in them over the weekend and ran 7.6 miles in them yesterday and they felt great.  I’m planning on running the WTRS 21K with them on Saturday and we’ll see how that goes.  They are very cushy and seem to be pretty lightweight for a solid trail shoe.  Plus they are a nice flashy yellow color which is kinda cool :)

Happy Running & Dirty Feet,
Jessica

So, you bought the shoes right off Michelle’s feet?

Well.. not literally the ones right off her feet. They had to ship me a new pair :)

I use those shoes too! And love them. I can’t believe I’m actually gonna see you tomorrow. Hope your race was good today. =)
