Yesterday I put out the question – "Should I run the 10K or 20K in two weeks, considering I've only ran 14 miles in the past 30 days?" I received a whopping 2 responses. Nice! Miki was most convincing since she said she did the same thing recently and a ran a 20K on less miles than me. Ok – 20K it is. Plus Miki will be here for the race so if I crash I burn I can blame her. Deal.
Time to start training? I did run a very lovely 3 miles last night. It was 75 and sunny. I love a good run in the sun when I can feel the heat. It was the kind of day we may not see around here again for weeks or months. Okay, so we are supposed to have the same again today and halfway decent tomorrow but the clouds will lock us in again all next week. Welcome to Portland – the sun gets tired here if it manages to come out for a few days.
