About 2 months ago when we set up our Internet on Verizon FIOS, I asked about bundling my verizon cell phone together with verizon FIOS on one bill. Well… I talk to 3-4 different people on 2 different phone calls and spent 1.5 hours before finally getting my services bundled together. I was then informed that I would be auto-billed for this service because "it had to work that way", and I could change it at a later date.
Since then, I have talk to about 15 different people on a bout 10 different phone calls, taking up HOURS of my life trying to get this all sorted out.
Last night I finally got them to send me a paper bill (I think) but I’m not holding my breath. Getting them to send me copies of my previous two months bills is proving to be impossible.
For a communications company they sure can’t communicate worth crap. First, every division might as well be a different company. They don’t seem to have access to each others data. At one point someone told me how one-bill supposedly works: The One Bill department (company?) gets your wireless and FIOS bill (or whatever combination) then they bill you for the combined bill and pay off your other bills separately. Sound convoluted? It gets worse!
Who do you call for one bill? If you call wireless they can’t help you because they can’t access your FIOS bill. If you call FIOS they can’t access your wireless bill. If you call Verizon Residential they can’t help because you don’ thave a Verizon home phone. What happens when you call One Bill? They tell you to talk to residential.
Last night I finally got someone in One Bill who said he would send me a paper copy of my bill going forward. He then said he would email me my last two months bills which he did. I checked after the phone call only to discover that what he emailed me was a link to the Verizon Residential site where I could look up my bill. Only problem is I don’t have (and can’t get) access to that site.
Seriously??? Why can’t there be one site where I log in and look at my bills? Why can’t there be one number to call? Why do they sometimes have to tell you to hang up and call a different number becuase they can’t even transfer you to a different "department"? Verizon One Bill is a joke. I’m starting to think Verizon is a joke. How can a company seriously function when it is so inept??
I dare you.. Do a Google search on "Verizon one bill is a nightmare" and see how many results you come up with. If you are thinking about One Bill – Don’t do it!!!

I had a nightmare with then for 4 months with my DSL and ended up writing and copying the letter to everyone on their Board the LA Times, Washington Post and New York Times…plenty of postage but it got it fixed!
Since then I have moved house and have ATT!
I think that’s Verizon in general… i’m not a fan of their customer service.
ugh, how horrible!!! I used to have similar nightmares with Sprint until I finally quit them. Hope it gets sorted out soon!!!
Three years later this is so my life. I’m on the phone with the 30th person right now. I JUST WANT TO SEE MY BILL.
