Portland Weather Really Really Sucks

You always hear about it.  Especially from me. Lest I just sound like a whiner – I give you data from the last 8 months here in Portland.  It's really  more than just the winter that is gloomy here as you will see below.

We are at June 16th now and so far this month there have been 4 days with at least some partial sun.  3 of those days were mostly to fully sunny.

Of the past 259 days there have only been 52 with at least partial sun and only 30 (of those 52) of the past 259 days have been mostly or fully sunny!  Seriously.  

If you are thinking about moving to Portland you need to be the kind of person who isn't affected by lack of sunshine.  For me, there are other cool things about Portland but I just can't get over the weather aspect.  I'm sick WAY more often here and feel generally cruddy way more than I ever have.  More tension headaches.  More colds.  More depression.  

Yes, my time here in this city is limited.  So – who's hiring in SoCal??
