I’ll try and keep this short. Let’s face it – who has the energy after moving 1000 miles?
Last Monday a truck loaded all our stuff and headed to Beverly. Hills that is. Not really – it headed to Carlsbad, CA (between San Diego and Orange County if you don’t know where that is). A friend of mine lives in Santa Monica and didn’t know. I joked that he doesn’t know where anything is south of the Starbucks on San Vicente (joke for you LA Peeps
) We drove down on Wednesday, stayed in Stockton (of all places) and drove the rest of the way Thursday. Driving with two dogs and two cats was not as bad as it could have been! It went really well actually. Our stuff was supposed to arrive Friday but didn’t until Monday so we are still in the midst of unpacking. I started work for an awesome company (so far it seems!) on Monday down in San Diego. The people here are eclectic in a good way and most seem like good peeps to work with (read: not boring).
The fun never ends – now that I’m down in SoCal I’m prepping for my race Twin Peaks in 4 weeks. Lots to do there, including if the course is even accessible after all the rain in December. I’m also helping out on two films, My Run and Eyes of Thailand. Both of them are great films with great people working on them and I’m proud to be a part of them! My Run is currently gearing up for a theatrical and DVD release. Are you excited? If not, check out the just released official theatrical trailer:
That’s all for now!
Happy Running & Dirty Feet,
Jessica

Welcome to Southern california! Hope to see you soon.
Thanks much! Tom – when is the next new members run? Are they usually the beginning of the month? And is there somewhere to run that’s open?
Welcome back to SoCal!
