An Old Friend

Orange County is sort of like an old friend.  I get here for a week of training and it feel sort of like we just picked up where we last left off.  A few minor changes here and there but for the most part it feels no different than when I lived here.  Sort of like I never left.  My home away from home.  Or just my home in general?

Last night I had a great run on the beach with fellow OCTR member Tom.  We shared many great trail adventures (along with Laura) about a year ago in the Santa Ana Mountains.  It was a gorgeous evening and beautiful sunset (as they pretty much all are here).  We did about 5.25 miles according to gmap-pedometer.  Here's some pictures from our run:
